The benefits of digital X-rays are the speed of seeing the teeth & bone levels within seconds, but most of all there is 90% less radiation exposure to you. In addition it is environmentally friendly as there is no lead film backing or toxic chemicals to dispose of! You the patient can also see the x-ray image on the computer monitor just as easily as the dentist can. But not all sensors are the same, ours are very small and rounded edges are the most comfortable!
CBCT (Cone Beam Computed Tomography) a 3D image!
The Instrumentarium machine has THE lowest radiation dosage delivered for the patient while getting the MOST amount of information for you. Some 3D machines can only capture 2-3 teeth at a time while ours captures the whole mouth with 1/8 the dosage of other machines. This is also thousands time less than the medical CT machines in hospitals!
HATE needles?
We offer needle free anesthesia that works very well for some of our non surgical procedures like root planing and even for minor events even the laser can be used with NO needles. If a procedure calls for profound local anesthesia... do not worry. We have tremendous experience and gentle hands and we treat all our patients with gentleness and kid gloves
Customized treatment
Treatment for you is individual and one size doesn't fit all. If there are any special requirements you or your loved ones need Dr. Desai has been very dedicated to taking care of the people who might have a harder time at the dental office. Her post-graduate specialty included a residency at the Hospital for Sick Children in Toronto in the dental care of special needs patients with physical or mental challenges gives her a unique set of skills for caring for anyone with any special need. Infection Control & Lasers
Dr Desai constantly trains and invests in our patients' health by bringing them the latest in cutting edge dentistry. Dr Desai has received advanced training in using lasers for dental applications. We use our laser for healing painful ulcers at the speed of light, to recontouring the gums for an esthetic gum lift or treatment of periodontal disease! The applications of lasers are numerous. The results are always amazing since the trauma to the tissues is negligible as compared to traditional surgery. Healing times are much shorter and the esthetic results are pleasing."

Plush treatment rooms: Get used to luxury in dentistry. Our dental chairs are plush leather and very soft. Each walled treatment room is completely self contained with it's own digital x-ray. No need to change rooms!
Sedation/Periodontics & Implants while asleep provided by a licensed emergency physician for those who want to sleep during lengthy appointments. Thus Dr Desai can fully concentrate on delivering the most expertise to you, the patient, rather than dividing her concentration on the sedation and surgical treatment concurrently.
Super soft blankets and Eye-pillows: Tune us out. We won't mind. Cocoon yourself in the soft blanket, put a therapeutic eye-pillow on your eyes,Individual music from playlists of your choice with sound blocking headphones, newspapers and magazines delivered to you digitally being the most ecofriendly way to take care of our world in the greeting and treatment rooms. Once you have completed treatment, a warm towel to refresh yourself is also provided.
