Consultation
You may book your consult online or call our office. You may also download the PDF file or fill out your New Patient Information Form online (eco friendly). On the day of consultation, your medical/dental history is reviewed and Dr Desai will be able to acquaint herself with you and your history. A thorough examination and any digital images, if needed, will be taken. These procedures help Dr. Desai with the diagnosis and develop a treatment plan. Occasionally study models for implants; treatment planning/surgical guide will be taken as well. Finally Dr. Desai will discuss treatment approaches with you and your family dentist at future appointments.

Will my Insurance Cover this?
Our experienced staff will assist you in filling out the forms and sending them electronically to the insurance company in order for you to expedite your financial reimbursement. We shall report only what is to be performed and when it was done in a true and accurate report. The amount you receive from your dental insurance company is dependant on the contract your employer has negotiated with the insurance company within your limits. This dental insurance is a contract between the insurer and the insured. Thus you are responsible for full payment of any treatment delivered in the office. Dr. Desai is responsible ONLY to you and not have a conflict of interest with the dental insurance company paying her directly.

Cancellation
If you need to cancel an appointment for consultation or treatment, at least 2 full working days is requested so that we may have time to re-schedule another patient who also requires treatment.

Financial Arrangements
We accept Visa, Mastercard, Interac, Certified Cheque, Cash. We do not accept direct payment from the insurance company. Again, this way there is no conflict of interest.
Fees
Fees are based upon the BC Periodontics Fee guide. Usually at or below the recommended Fee Guide. A Senior's discount is available as a courtesy. Cash or certified cheque payments are eligable for a 2% fee reduction.
